How is squamous cell papilloma diagnosed?

Diagnosis is primarily clinical, based on characteristic morphology and history of HPV exposure. Dermoscopy may reveal a mosaic pattern or comma-like vessels.

Biopsy is reserved for:

Conservative surgical excision
